Media Network:
The rise of podcasts and what it means for brands
About the event
Join us on the 21st November for a discussion about the rise of podcasting and the opportunities it has created for brands. Our panellists look after some of the UK’s most popular podcasts, covering news, culture, politics and more.
We will be joined by:
- Ellie Clifford, Head of Content at Persephonica, the producers of The News Agents
- Robert Abel, Head of Audio Strategy at The Guardian
- Mike Wooller, Deputy Head of Podcasts at DMG Media, owner of The Daily Mail, MailOnline and Metro
Chaired by MHP's Director of Earned Media James Rollinson, the discussion will cover:
- The secrets behind popular podcasts and strategy for audience growth
- What makes a great podcast story
- The impact of podcasts on the broader news environment
- How brands can take advantage of the still growing popularity of podcasts
There will also be an opportunity for attendees to ask the panel questions as part of a Q&A at the end of the session.
