Net Zero has become a political battleground, in which higher
trust voters and ‘Super Distrusters’ are forming very different opinions.

Findings from wave 6 of MHP's Polarisation tracker was produced in partnership with Cambridge University Political Psychology Lab. finds that at the heart of this opposition is the belief that elites are motivated by ideological zeal, determined to push
through their ideas without consultation or consideration for the impact on people.
